Namaskar!

I am very happy that I have got this opportunity of being a ‘mentor’ for the musical section in Impulse ’09 and I am grateful to Mr Shailesh Deshmukh of Unknown Waters for giving it to me.

I have always believed that knowledge sharing is the best way to gain more knowledge-and it works both ways. You benefit along with the people with whom you are sharing it.(Some people would strongly differ with me though.)

I am glad that a platform such as this is being created and I am very sure the participants are going to enjoy this rocking trip of Impulse ’09. The memories of college days and the spirit of various inter-collegiate competitions like Pursuhottam and Firodiya can be re-lived through this experience of Impulse ’09.

I was asked to design the rules and regulations for the music section of this competition.

I tried to strike a balance between strictness and leniency! I could not be too strict coz the participants are all working professionals-and they have followed music as their hobby. At the same time I could not afford to be too lenient coz a certain standard has to be maintained throughout the competition. I hope the rules which are set will be accepted and followed by the participants in the true spirit of the competition.
